These images were all taken at the Singapore Zoo during a visit in 2013.  The Singapore Zoo , commonly known as the Mandai Zoo occupies 69 acres in Singapore’s heavily forested central area.  It is a fantastic place to visit and interact with the animals on display.  There are over 2500 animals here, and the exhibits lend themselves to any patient photographer, professional or amateur.  This is because the animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures, separated from the visitors by either dry or wet moats.  The moats are concealed with vegation or dropped below the line of vision.  An animal photographer’s paradise.
